in the same vein as what @spengrah.eth is saying: being able to force inclusion of messages directly on-chain is an important feature for censorship resistance. would be analogous to being able to force inclusion of a transaction on L2 via an L1 inbox in case the sequencer goes down or starts censoring transactions

I like this idea long term, but what about Hubs today is not censorship resistant?

I'm not too familiar with the way messages are broadcasted and gossiped by hubs today, but I would imagine they can be modified not to process (i.e. store or at least relay) certain messages Even if censorship resistance isn't a factor, bringing that functionality on-chain enables a lot of interesting applications
