I was curious about Clanker memecoin market cap numbers: - how many minutes before the typical memecoin trends down without recovery? - what is the MC for the typical memecoin, what's the lower and upper quartile look like? Dune can't do box & whisker plots, and struggles with more data points (last 7 days, 1st 240 minutes of the token's life) but you can still get the jist by looking at this: - 3rd quartile Clankers peak after 8 minutes, the median one peaks after 1-2 minutes - vast majority of clankers won't exceed 75k, and the median clanker won't go higher than 50k https://dune.com/queries/4358795

not scientific but a few observations 1. followers greater than 20K atleast. If greater than 100K then very high probability it will breach $75K Mcap 2. If not 1, sometimes subjective social signals such as CTO launched by dune cofounder or i guess there was another one by that i am failing to recall - where the creator didn't have a humongous following but still the tokens did well 3. riding on a very hot trend like RLUSD that happened today or there was another one where vitalik shared an image of tolkien's ring and someone launched a token with it and it spiked I think the more difficult question is which one will have staying power.
