i think the best consumer product is one that allows consumer opinions

The majority of people aren’t strongly opinionated so I think there is a middle ground to strike via opinionated defaults not to overwhelm people

However, it’s important to consider that defaults should be carefully chosen to reflect values or standards that align with the broader goals or needs of the majority.

ill go ahead and say running a product based on users opinion might be a bad face for the product so i guess a middle ground strike over opinions might be viable. take Warpocasst for instance despite all the different opinions userd give Dan still priotizes features and opinions that will be best for the product
