1. I think this is fine! Permissionless means you can build however you want.

2. For those that have been around for a while, Varun correctly predicted this and there was a lot of pushback from devs (remember amps?). Protocol follows only work if a large app like Warpcast is willing to follow that norm.

(To be clear again: these apps should build however they want and should not feel pressured to ask users for signers / add back to the graph if that's not beneficial to them.)

Already does kinda. You can add a ‘type’ when adding a new link on the protocol

This is great if your app has a fc signer but other than that no incentive really bc it requires users you onboard outside of farcaster to pay the $3/year anti spam tax

presumably there is be network effects of broader visibility if content from your app is on farcaster vs not and a subset of brands will choose to utilize that

(less relevant for follows, more relevant for stuff like comments)
