You're getting lucky currently though, since it's about the audience. Right now it's high signal to noise, but the more permissionless the platform, the more challenging preserving the culture becomes. Be glad you built on Twitter so that you have a follower base to migrate :)

Some crypto consumers do need the blockchain - those who care about provable ownership and portable identity (and direct payments). Most consumers don’t care about the stack; they care about the company they keep and the quality/relevance of content.

Easier to pull off when you've got a direct-to-consumer, subscription, or enterprise product. For marketplace products (either for commerce or for social) the cold start problem is very real. Although, given what we're about to go through, I really hope you are right 😆
