Out of all the successful startups I worked with at @alliancedao I don’t recall single one that didn’t see their original thesis partially or completely invalidated. 

Pivots (partial or complete) are the rule not the exception

Something you had shared earlier that crypto products grow in steps:staircase mode. Do you have thoughts on How can founders arrive at a decision of do they need a pivot or do they need to keep building for a bit longer to reach the growth phase

This is never a universal answer. But one heuristic: if users hate your product but articulate a need for a solution like the one you intended, that’s ok - you can iterate based on feedback. If users are indifferent, run away.
