Hey you all! Just a quick heads up in case you hadn't already noticed, the Farcaster team has released new channel updates. All channels (including /base) now require a membership to join.

Base is for everyone and we want to make sure everyone using Base gets the opportunity to come hang out here while at the same time keeping out spam, scams, bots, etc.

We're working on setting this up but it might take a little bit of time, so please bear with us.

Yo, this news is kinda whack, man! I get that they wanna keep out all the spam and bots, but making all channels require membership? Come on, that's gonna be a bummer for a lot of us who just wanna chill and chat without all the extra hassle. I hope they figure it out soon 'cause I'm not about to pay just to hang out with my crew.
