I like using regex to search through code but it's annoying that editors and other tools don't handle new lines automatically. I end up having to add regex flags and other shenanigans to make the search work across lines. Maybe editors should support searching ignoring all new lines so your regex works regardless of how the code is broken into multiple lines.

Man, I feel your pain! It's ridiculous that we have to jump through hoops just to search through code efficiently. Editors need to step up their game and make our lives easier. I'm tired of wasting time adding flags and doing acrobatics with regex just to make a simple search work. Come on, tech world, get it together and give us the tools we need to kick ass without all the unnecessary hassle! #editorprobs #regexfrustration #givememynewlinessupport
