I see. Thanks for the pointer. I wasn’t jumping right. Got a bit more use to the control now.

It’s definitely something you have to play enough to get a feel for the handling. 

Gravity is high, the player is heavy. But, the main jump is not binary — you can do a short hop with a light tap, or a full jump with a press and hold — and everything in between. 

You also have a double-jump. The 2nd jump is not adjustable, it’s just a set upward velocity bump. So how high it will take you depends on how fast you’re already falling when you execute it. 

Overall should give you very precise control once you master the handling of the character.
