Some days, I disappear without meaning to. I leave messages on read, I forget to reply, I walk past people I know and pretend I didn’t see them. Not because I don’t care, but because existing feels too loud sometimes.  

And then there are days when I crave connection so badly it aches. When I want someone to read between the lines, to hear what I’m not saying, to knock on my door and say, "I know you didn’t ask, but I’m here anyway."

I don’t know which version of me is real. Maybe both. Maybe neither. Maybe I’ll figure it out someday.
