not taking it to heart, but it's true: watching everyone ghibli and score engagement while many of us continue to share things ~we actually made~ to little interest is painful. my mission always has been, and will remain trying to improve the "situation" for creatives. weird that the solution lies in game design.

It feels like end game. NGL. I agree with the tools and growth aspect. But most of that seems internal. Same distribution cabals. People just want to fit in. (Anti artist mantra kind of) Hence copy pasta. And acceptance of slop as WOW. Slop gets better daily too.

wanting to fit in as an anti artist mantra is illuminating. it's the evolved form of monoculture. is it impregnable? is the mission doomed from the start? here's my theory: these tools also empower the creatives. when you have those traditionally seen as designers, artists, or creators making apps, not relying on business-driven devs, i think there will be real magic.
