"An Iranian diplomat, briefed by his government, said attempts by various countries to convince Tehran not to escalate had been and would be fruitless given Israel’s recent attacks." www.wsj.com/world/middle... Compare this statement to messaging for years from Iranian officials, even following major assassinations, that they are not seeking a war and are in favor of deescalation. No such statements are being made this time nor are there efforts being made to telegraph their actions ahead so they can be intercepted. In addition to Israel definitely being targeted an interesting question is whether the Gulf Arab states will be hit in a retaliation. It’s clear that some local country collaborated in the assassination of Haniyeh which could not have taken place so far from Israel’s borders without basing or intel assistance. If there is a hit on UAE their economy will not recover as it is based on the “Dubai Bubble” of globalization. Alarming times.

Do you think the UAE could be struck by Iran without inviting retaliation from Saudi (given the closeness of MBZ and MBS)
