looks amazing <3 I've never heard of jammy onions - is that like caramelized onions?

I'm going to have to try this. I feel like I never have patience for fully caramelizing and always end up with burnt onions haha.

Exactly. Kinda describes the texture. The goal is to cook them down with butter on medium heat until they get really soft. Caramelizing would have taken longer but similar technique.
