This is my second day as a non-smoker. Smoked for 20 years, quit yesterday. Was done because of the fact that it sort of controlled my life and patterns. I literally been a smoker since I was 14 years old, so I can't wait to experience life without. Feels weird, but also feels like a fresh start. 💜

Your story is similar to my father’s. He started at 11 and quit at 38, and lived to 97. Your image is a closeup of your healing lung alveoli.

Respect to anyone who managed to quit. Because in all honesty, its a very wild and unusual way of feelings that are crushing me right now.

He did it cold turkey. I think most successful quitters do. Hang in there! Much respect.

Same here, I believe its the only way to really get rid of the urge, if it's even possible though. But I know I'll succeed and can zoom out and be proud of myself in a few months, although these days feel like a restless hell lol.
