Curious to understand what DUNA solves that wouldn’t be solved with:
* Remove the veto
* Dissolve Nouns foundation 
* Further protocolize Nouns (e.g Vrbs streaming)

The solution is to make the treasury distribution programatic. For example, no one is KYC'ing Unsiwap LPs or Bitcoin miners or ETH stakers. Why? Because they are being paid programmatically by the protocol itself.

Voters can be fully anon. 

Also, more programmatic treasury distribution might solve this (?)

I think the main thing would be token holder/voter liability.

Honestly, going under any jurisdiction’s regulatory and compliance nonsense feels like a slap in the face to the whole crypto ethos. 

It’s like we’re reversing everything crypto was built for. The worst part? The people who claim to be “supporting” the space keep pushing us backward. Instead of making things more codified, trustless, permissionless, and censorship-resistant, they just retreat to their personal safety nets. 

If Nouns’ big holders decide to go down this path, then that’s the future of Nouns. Is it the beginning of the end or just the end of a chapter? Hard to say, the future is always uncertain. 

But as a contributor to the space, I’ll keep pushing forward the way I can and see how it all plays out.

Totally agree, dissolve Nouns foundation and remove the veto could solve all those excuses.
