new to minting ordinals on bitcoin if i have to mint one, i should have BTC in my ordinals address right? In my magic eden account i see all these. wondering which one should i send my BTC to.

Payments is the correct one. If you buy an ordinal on ME, funds will be withdrawn from your Payments wallet and the ordinal will be send to Ordinals & Runes address.
