I wasn’t recently active, taking a break. Mostly I read & reply, not cast generally.

I felt I was completely suppressed after the channels update, with all replies hidden below the fold which then would get zero engagement whereas when I first joined I would always get some positive feedback & conversation with caster & others.

The combo of that plus not being able to cast into channels, lowered distribution of any casts I might make felt like I would never get this account to a place of getting interactions & followers.

Need to focus on getting new users and users with low follow count more exposure to make the site interesting. Otherwise they try a few times, get little result and bounce.
