My appreciation 1. The beautiful weather that allows me to go for a walk on lunchtime 2. My new job is which is much less stressful and better paid 3. My baby, who is growing up, becoming more independent every day and becoming his own person. But who always gives me kisses and cuddles.

Winter is when nature crawls to a stop. I truly believe in taking cues from nature and accepting that productivity is cyclical. Like so many, I have struggled with overachieving as a way to feel worthy. The last snow reminded me I chose to heal from that mentality by embracing the restorative power of unapologetic rest
