these two statements conflict with each other 1️⃣ "there are too many engagement farmers!" 2️⃣ "the algorithm needs to be 100% open!" #1 is a higher priority in the near term and we've made great strides on it, and we continue to work on it

One interesting problem is the engagement flywheel. High SCS casters get more engagement, which artificially inflates their score as they are farmed. Their casts get promoted in the algo pushing down other content and further inflating their score.
