Was wondering why people increasingly have April Fools fatigue (when the tradition has carried on for centuries) and that is the answer. 

Difficult to maintain novelty when you have 1000x more exposure to ideas traveling 1000x as fast

If you’re looking for fresh source material, try asking a child. I asked a six year old what a good April fools prank would be and she said to put a hotdog in someone’s shoe. That’s a top tier prank
