Someone please talk me out of moving all my ETH to SOL

it has nothing to do with Solana outages or crisis

ETH will lag as long as it's suffocated by bureaucracy (that's not changing any time soon)

the bureaucracy is just decentralization imo, which is what makes it more secure & reliable, but def comes with tradeoffs

the beauracracy has moved it to being even more centralized

it's given us everything being pushed to centralized L2s and custodial staking controlled by giant regulated US entities

This is just wrong in my extremely biased opinion. Ethereum is far more decentralized on each layer of the stack.

The “bureaucracy” is just complexity because it’s hard to scale for global usage in a decentralized/defensive way.

Currently you get a spectrum of decentralization tradeoffs for speed and lower cost on the L2s that people are willing to make.

The PoS staking mechanism, even with institutional providers, is far more diverse than something like Bitcoin’s PoW mining pools.
