🚨 Binance reaches a settlement with the SEC - Requesting a 60-day pause on lawsuits

This conciliatory move opens the door for negotiations between the two parties instead of continued confrontation. It marks a new step as the SEC is restructuring its crypto regulatory team to establish a clearer legal framework for the market.

Earlier, in June 2023, the SEC sued Binance & CZ with 13 charges of securities law violations, sparking a prolonged legal battle since then.

If the court approves, Binance will have additional time for negotiations. More importantly, this could set a precedent for other organizations involved in lawsuits with the SEC to adopt a similar strategy and seek more favorable agreements, such as Ripple, Kraken, and Coinbase.
