i was trying to mint @yb's latest letter because that's exactly what we're trying to bring to solana but then this was what happened :/ what's stopping yall from exploring the solana ecosystem? im so tired of bridging assets into the multitude of L2s just to collect a simple NFT - this is not practical UX

It was 100% devX that was holding solana back builder wise But its getting there As for the bridging to mint thing, tools like relay by @reservoir are making that invisible - check out minting on zora for an example of that UX

but devX is really not that bad check out @0xmert's RPCs, metaplex cnft sdks its easier than eth + magnitudes cheaper i am curious as to what exactly is stopping creators from using solana

Yes now its not that bad thanks to things like helius and metaplex But this is recent (last year or so) By then people were already heavily invested and integrated in the evm ecosystem And if you even tried solana before that it was literally eating glass š Will be a huge year for solana

do you think platforms which make this easy for creators could make them switch over from paragraph/hypersub etc?

Switch idk both of these platforms are building really strong moats Paragraph could literally compete with substack with its UX Especially hypersub because most subscriptions are for longer time horizons But Solana desperately needs consumer apps and frame txs are coming to solana Incredible time to be building one
