Hey, stumbled on this. I was told by an LLM that Pinecone could help on a project maybe, I kind of understood it as a semantic Embedding dealy, which Claude says will help the project, which is...I'm not really sure but kind of creating a living knowledge graph. We need something that can map zettelkasten entries in a zettelkasten of consciousness, which probably doesn't make sense spoken like that, still looking for the language. In any case, anyone her can eli5 what Pinecone does?

pinecone is a semantic search database (for RAG) that another company hosts and speeds up for you rag/semantic search is a way of searching by similarity to something i.e apple and orange are similar traditional text search would search apple and grapple for example semantic search is fast
