I just heard someone say in a debate: "The left is for the rainbow coalition of chronic victimhood seekers who think someone else should solve all their problems, whereas the right is for people who stand on their own two legs, take responsibility, and try to solve their problems on their own." Makes sense!

It’s a generalization for sure! But it kinda makes sense when you think left is the one always wants a bigger government and the government to solve most of their problems. Right mostly want less government intervention in their lives.

But polling doesn’t show that anymore.
