went into more detail about my thinking here https://warpcast.com/sonyasupposedly/0x69333aae I don't like that the artist earns such a small cut of what you spend to "collect" on a Zora coin, versus 50% to the artist and 25% to the tastemaker on Rodeo. and I don't like the framing that you're buying stuff because it might go viral, versus collecting art

to me these cryptoart social platforms feel like a version of reblogging on tumblr, except you tip the artist to add their work to your moodboard, in effect. I enjoy that. but new Zora doesn't fit into that model
