excited about this!! I'm not 100% sure how step #3 will happen logistically. originally the plan was for artwork to be mintable only by burning $petal, but then I discovered that Manifold only allows burn-to-mint with other NFTs, not ERC-20s and the like. so I'm still figuring that part out

I decided to create $petal using @clankpad because I appreciate the generous fee split, which will allow more budget for commissioning artists: https://warpcast.com/mcbain/0x07399d29 and I used /clanksrus because I appreciate @darkoh.eth's approach, which actually inspired the idea for $petal. he burns his channel owner allocations, and uses ETH to buy and burn the channel token $clanksrus. clever! https://warpcast.com/darkoh.eth/0xab718a0c

I'm not expecting $petal to moon immediately or whatever, so I'm doing two things to get the ball rolling: πΈ I bought $500 worth of $petal to show that I'm serious. I know for a some of you this is not a lot of money, but I very rarely spend $500 on anything all at once lol πΈ assuming the clanker rewards will be insignificant to start with, I will personally fund the first few commissions if you're interested in supporting this project, you can donate to petalcoin.eth :) or feedback and suggestions are also welcome!
