In 2023, 474 developers from 71 different countries participated in the survey. Generics, `require` with custom error types, and transient storage were found to be the most anticipated features in 2023 and 63.5% of the respondents who knew about Ethereum Object Format were confident that it will positively impact them. In 2022, we received an overwhelming response from a staggering number of 1401 developers hailing from 100 different countries across the globe. Solidity ranked as the most favourite programming language (18.8%), closely followed by JavaScript (17.3%), Python (15.2%), TypeScript (15.0%).
