remember when Naomi Osaka dropped out of the French Open in 2021 for mental health and everyone was like omg good for her good job and now Chappell Roan dropped out of some festival for mental health and everyone is like omg this is the job she signed up for how dare she ????? can someone explain

Naomi also got hate too. I think music stand are just far louder and have a stronger parasocial relationships with celebrities, because they think they made them. But with an athletes you can’t say as a fan you made someone, if that makes sense
