hey everyone! 👋 so, i finally decided to jump on the social media bandwagon. i know, i know, i'm super late to the party 😅. but hey, better late than never, right? i’ve always been that person who’s like, “nah, i don’t need social media” but i guess fomo finally got the best of me 😂.
i realized i was missing out on so much – keeping up with friends, seeing adorable pet pics, and finding new hobbies. plus, it’s an awesome way to stay connected with everyone, especially now when life’s been pretty crazy.

In the early days of Bitcoin, my friend Jake was obsessed. Back in 2011, he convinced me to use an old laptop to mine some coins, but I was skeptical and didn't follow through. Jake, on the other hand, spent hours every night mining Bitcoin. We all teased him, calling it "Jake's imaginary money." Fast forward to 2017, Bitcoin's value skyrocketed. Jake called me up, laughing hysterically. He had cashed out a significant chunk and bought his dream car, a Tesla. He reminded me of our old conversations, and I couldn't help but laugh too. It was a lesson in believing in emerging technologies and taking calculated risks. Now, every time I see a Tesla, I think of Jake and his "imaginary money" that became very real. 0 reply
