What's preventing you for from casting about your niche interests in channels?

How can we make it easier / more likely that you would do it

If we changed channels to "narrowcasting"

 i.e. only people who follow the channel will see it in a feed vs. today where all of your followers see all of your casts regardless of channel

1. I would want this for most channels
2. I would want this for some channels
3. I would  want this for only a couple of channels

3. 

But really 4. I don’t want this at all

+1. when in doubt, i'd opt for what makes channels unique here. 

a shot at expanding beyond the channel fence is a big plus. 

otherwise it's a walled garden that may die from the channel host side first due to lack of growth - i don't wanna spend time on something that doesn't grow

I also host my own channel, and for it to grow, it needs to reach a lot of people. 

This method might be good for making the channel special, but I'm not sure if it will ultimately make everyone happy.
