Every summer I maintain outdoors garden but when season ends i switch to hydroponics (only one of two pictured ). I find it a very sustainable option, because i never need to run grocery store when i need a few springs of dill or basil. My kids also love it and snack on healthy herbs and lettuce any time of the day.
