TVL isn't a great metric. Too much double counting and reliance on centralised metric providers like defillama. 

Goal: Improve onramping fees & accessibility. Shoidl br as competitive to CEX onramping (v hard bc CEXs will absorb onramping costs).

Focus on protocols is TVL. Think chains, wallets, etc all focused on ramping and UX which is good.

Imo, we need more efficiency, better UX (starting with wallets, better onramp/offramp), reduction of complexity such as 2, 3 different tokens per project & voting structures (new tokenomic strategy).

I’d consider Social fi a key part of scaling/distribution of defi but not the next DeFi itself.
