Focus on protocols is TVL. Think chains, wallets, etc all focused on ramping and UX which is good.

Divide and conquer

TVL isn't a great metric. Too much double counting and reliance on centralised metric providers like defillama. 

Goal: Improve onramping fees & accessibility. Shoidl br as competitive to CEX onramping (v hard bc CEXs will absorb onramping costs).

Totally. Doesn’t mean protocols aren’t trying to increase it. Most of defi (and finance generally) rely on fees in some way shape or form. Fees go further when TVL (or AUM in tradfi) is bigger.
