Rule of three For those who are not in terms with numbers or cannot do nine things a day, Chris Bailey, the author of the book “My Productive Year”, came up with the rule of three. It says that to achieve productivity, it is enough to do the three most important things every day. Instead of scattering your strength and attention on a couple of dozen items on the checklist, just choose the three most important tasks for the day and focus on them. The next day, choose three more, and so on. So you will stay focussed. The same rule can be used to set goals for a week, a month or a year.
