How long does it take to propose a block? I know proposers are randomly chosen, but I’ve been running a node since Dec ‘23 and haven’t proposed a block yet. Is it possible I’m doing something wrong, or am I just unlucky?

Gave up on calculating token balances using transactions. I’m now fetching token balances from the contract directly. Here’s how the PWA looks so far. It’s coming together..

After checking my calculations a thousand times, it seems like my code calculates the final WETH balance correctly from my ERC20 token transfer txs, but I'm thinking that WETH could have been sent to my wallet through a contract, and won't appear in the ERC20 txs

Hi all, not sure if this channel is appropriate for dev questions, sorry if not. I've been building a web app that's like a finance dashboard for crypto, and I've been struggling to calculate my token balances using my transactions. Is there a way for WETH to be transferred and not be in the 'ERC20' txs on etherscan?

I’m building a simple front end for viewing my balance and transactions for my @gnosispay card on my phone. It sucks having to sign in with your wallet to see if you have enough money to pay for something, especially if you use a hardware wallet. Still broken in many ways, but I’ve only spent an hour on it so far

How are L2 fees calculated before knowing how much it will cost to write L2 block data to mainnet? I’m assuming that’s not how it works, but how do we guarantee that there is enough eth to pay for L2 settlement transactions on mainnet?
