in Miami where I live, there are no eggs at the grocery stores every other visit — across multiple stores Is it like that everywhere in the u.s. or only here?

Egg prices here are high. 9$ ish per dozen. I don't go to the store normally. So, I'm not sure on whether they're out. Interesting though that the packs of hardboiled eggs pre peeled are now cheaper per dozen than raw eggs.
