I did it. I don't mind trading the phone number for a boost in points.

I didn't. I figured out my issue with the help of @gt 

It was me all along 😅
The phone verification is to be adjusted maybe in a week or so.

Looks like sometime on May, I tried to recover my account or something, and used the wrong email and tied my phone number to that email.

After the change/fix, we will be able to verify any number, even if it had been used before because we verify with the sis 2 step code.
