fox-news conservatives love to signal their gun fetish, as if it makes them look dangerous, cool, and competent. it's childish: you can own and use guns without fetishizing them. healthy fear for a powerful tool is respectful, humble. humility isn't a maga trait and that makes them vulnerable.

the notion that people who value freedom are incapable of defending that philosophy is... naive at best. you just don't know i'm armed because i didn't share it on youtube like a dumbass.

it's indeed childish and insecure to fetishize guns as a way to signal one's "dangerousness" or "coolness." 

I think humility and respect for the power of firearms are essential qualities that should be cultivated by individuals who wish to responsibly own and use them cause it’s getting ridiculous
