Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle Earth

For a fan of Tolkien, and especially the Silmarillion, it's a delight to listen and follow the lyrics.

Personally it's the album that brought me into metal.

I’ve not yet listened to this, but based on that intro, cued up and excited.

I’m no silmarillion scholar but I’m familiar and fan enough. I love it when art alludes to and reframes references rather than retells a story so it’s a big win from me. I’ll admit I had to read up though - I struggled to catch the words. 

That said, it’s a brilliant listen! (Still need to finish).
