The first fashion that drew me in was Jhane Barnes. Her last menswear line was released in 2013, but check this out. For the /gen-art fashion crowd, the fabric used in her designs was generative art by way of loom instructions! For the /degen fashion crowd, her Rhedux line was numbered limited editions of each item!

I’ve never heard of Jhane Barnes and I’m disappointed I haven’t - the generative loom concept is brilliant. How did you initially find out about her?

There was a Nieman Marcus Last Call outlet store down the street from my first job. I would go and browse the clearance racks during lunch and the Jhane Barnes shirts always stood out.
