We're deprecating some features with low usage on Bountycaster (bookmarks on our website + recommended bounties + cast action checking # of bounty completions) Goal is to simplify our system so less eng complexity + maintenance which allows us to ship faster. There's a lot of stated vs revealed preferences but want to reduce bloat from it over time

This might not be the right thread but is there a way for the bounty frame be the original cast and the text be the one in the replies and not vice versa when using composer action? I feel like this calls more attention rather than having texts as a cast.

Like for this bounty of mine (first photo) instead of the texts in the main cast can’t it be the frame (second photo)? I feel like it’ll be more attractive and easier for people to see. And most people don’t look at replies before replying to a post.

Ah yes ideally we could make the first cast a frame but unfortunately it's *significant* engineering work to make that possible since that's not how bounties are created and picked up in our system so we weren't able to do that

I felt that it really is a *significant* amount of work. It’s just that based on experience, posts with photos get more engagement than pure text ones. If I post the bounty in /bounties and then post the frame generated by bounty bot to my channel of choice. Can I grant bounties to either post? And then just complete the bounty on the original one once done?

Yes, since bounties are peer to peer you can do whatever you want as long as it's paid out to bounty completers
