(1/2)Okay, let's talk a bit about the community first. The core of any token’s growth is its community. After building that community, you need marketing and development. Degen’s community is fire, but can *everyone* here do marketing? Hell no. So if the Degen team can’t handle marketing themselves, instead of banning people every season, why not ask the community for donations? Personally, I’d throw in 20% of my monthly tokens to fund development and ads. Farcaster’s a decentralized space, right? In decentralized worlds, you can’t really tell what’s high-quality and what’s trash—everyone’s a “creator.” But is just *being* a creator enough for Degen’s growth? Nah, I don’t think so. The biggest communities are built by regular people. You don’t need “top-tier” content—you need loyal supporters. But banning folks kinda wrecked that loyalty. rain 5001 $degen

(2/2)Here’s what I think would help Degen grow: - Ask the community for donations and use that cash to pay crypto influencers to hype Degen. - Find solid partnerships. - Expand Degens use cases, like breaking into gaming to make things more fun. Lastly, mad respect for all your hard work, but big ecosystems are built by connecting small pieces. You banned thousands of those pieces—people who could’ve had your back in tough times, like summer 2024 when they locked up their assets to support Degen. Oh, and don’t forget: We’re not just dead weight and fat. We helped turn Degen from a tiny token into a whole family.
