Rebuilding a family cabin in Maine with my brother @dish has been an experience of a lifetime. We have spent every childhood summer up there (to this day). The cabin is on a small island in the Moosehead Lake region of northern Maine. When this solar panel induced fire happened in the summer of โ22, the whole family was in devastation. After nearly 2 years of uncertainty, wondering if weโd ever be able to rebuild this special place of ours, we were blessed to have family members help us with the process of rebuilding. Within 14 days in June of โ24, we were able to completely frame the new structure of the house. The primary crew consisted of myself, my brother, my sister, mom/dad, 2 hard working cousins, as well as my uncle who was the mastermind behind the whole operation.
Everything happens for a reason, we all became closer as a family, closer as friends, and all gained life long skills and memories that will never be forgotten. 7 replies
