I unfollowed all the huge channels, they don't make sense to me anymore. People should just broadcast into the Main feed and have more thoughtful discussions in channels.

In most cases, I agree with this.

General topic channels don't work well in the new model. They were built an era of channels as hashtags.

There will be some exceptions, but will require a lot of work from the channel owner and moderators to make sure a large channel becomes and stays a community.

awesome that you released such a breaking change after seeing the entire community engage in speculative investments of these channels via fan tokens and lock them away for months... really cool of you
