I'm starting a free trial of Apple Music to test out their lossless audio streaming, and to start making real effort to move away from Spotify and its treatment of artists. I'm eager to get my personal library of music imported into it. Anyone have any tips on using Apple Music for music discovery and playlisting for social sharing?

I am a long time user of Apple Music (and a musician by the way). Personal impressions: the algorithm takes ages to train, but eventually started to suggest some hidden gems (by real underground artists not made up bots). Sadly the playlist and social aspects are not on par with Spotify and I did not see signs of change in that aspect

After a couple of weeks of use, I'd say this checks out. The algorithm has been feeding me bangers so far. Discovery is far less organic, however I feel much more like I'm managing a curated library vs treading through endless musical slop. The streaming quality makes a massive difference for listening for me.
