Cars give me lazy vibes, subways full of the urban masses signal vitality, commerce, progress 

My biggest prejudice is against the automobile, we must lay new track and bore tunnels constantly

directionally agree but sometimes subways full of urban masses give me the opposite vibes, like we're all cogs in a machine

I think this is the double bind of modernity. Progress means more cogs, less contemplative drives into the sunset

if you take the same route some time same day it gave me the same thoughts last time I had it but when you’re commuting to different places it feels quite ok
