Cobie's new project echo.xyz, a crypto start-up investment platform, uses an embedded wallet. Why? IMO it's because they forsee angel investors with varying levels of crypto experience to onboard Embedded wallets unlock the next billion people to come onchain

IMO - embedded wallets are great for onboarding new users onchain. If your app targets a wide audience and doesn't emphasize that it's a crypto app, they are a great fit. Smart wallets are great for interoperability across DApps, DeFi, and other crypto paradigms. For crypto veterans, smart wallet is best-in-class.

embedded wallet is really just an in-app wallet -- a signer that can be used as an eoa (embedded wallet as we hear it) or with a smart account system (smart wallet)... Whether to AA depends a bit on your use case, cost structure, chain involved, etc
