a small but growing part of me thinks that there needs to be something distinctly different than a) defined communities and b) simply casting to main. e.g. general topics & cities, anyone can post / join and it just defaults to some standard warpcast algo.

I tend to agree I was thinking of some sort of metadata standard, kinda like nft metadata where people can add arbitrary json attributes to a cast and then clients can do what they want with the properties https://warpcast.com/six/0x57156411

I know Erica and Chris have been hard advocating for location metadata at the post level for what it could open up Perhaps there are more examples where that opens the modalities that people can view and use the feed from

this is a cool idea, not sure if it should be arbitrary tags or a namespace tho. I think there is value in the latter, if for no other reason than that constraints make it easier to classify.
