NFTs were rarely actually “art” Participants’ lack of confidence/integrity around this doomed the whole space imo

But many holders having to pretend/believe that all the money making schemes with a fiver image on it were “art” as NFTs — it dragged down the authentic work in the space in public consciousness (This almost even happens with crypto itself, but luckily the two most legit things are more than 50% of all talk and value)
